About the speaker:
Jugna Shah, MPH, is the president and founder of Nimitt Consulting Inc. and works domestically on OPPS/APC issues and internationally on the design and implementation of DRG-based financing systems. Ms. Shah specializes in working with hospitals, health systems, and advocacy organizations on managing and resolving the day to day clinical, financial, and operational challenges of OPPS/APC. She also raises important payment policy issues to CMS through advocacy efforts in an attempt to improve the overall APC system.
Ms. Shah has conducted hundreds of seminars on various aspects of APCs, including using OCE edits to manage revenue and compliance, E/M coding, modifiers, infusions and injections, and others. She has helped to develop a number of leading publications on OPPS/APCs, including Briefings on APCs, the APC Answer Letter, and the APC Weekly Monitor and recently published OPPS Drug Administration Strategies.
