Leadership and Experience Guide Our Vision

Accuro's vision is to protect the healthcare system by simplifying information and improving communication through the integration of products, knowledge and technology. The leadership at Accuro is focused on delivering a comprehensive set of tools to support hospitals and physicians in their efforts to achieve revenue cycle success.

The Executive Team:

Kerry Martin, President, Accuro Business Intelligence. Mr. Martin has seventeen years experience building and managing companies that provide innovative solutions for all types of healthcare organizations. In 1985, he founded and served for thirteen years as CEO of 5K Computers, a practice management and billing company that served hundreds of physician clinics in Washington State. In 1998, Mr. Martin also co-founded Webster Corporation, a regional, healthcare-centric, Internet service provider. At Webster, he gained a deep understanding of Internet technologies and rapid application development, designing, managing and launching many of Webster's major database-driven Internet applications. By leveraging his expertise developing Internet products and services with his understanding of the coding needs of his medical practice clients, Mr. Martin, in 1998, founded CodeCorrect and developed the first version of CodeCorrect PRO. In November of 2000, CodeCorrect acquired Seattle-based MedRelevance. Soon after, Mr. Martin successfully combined the resources of the two companies to complete the first release of CodeCorrect APC.

Diane Brockway, COO, Accuro Business Intelligence. Ms. Brockway joined Accuro in the fall of 2002 bringing over 20 years of clinical and healthcare industry management experience. Before joining Accuro, Ms. Brockway served as Director of Sales Operations at HealtheTech, a developer of medical devices and software. Prior to joining HealtheTech, she was Senior Vice President acting as General Manager for Health Decisions International, which was later acquired by WebMD. While at Health Decisions International, she held several senior roles including Senior Vice President of Operations, Vice President of Product Development and Integrity, and Vice President of Clinical Services. She began her clinical and management career with the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where she served for over ten years in a variety of clinical and hospital administrative roles. Ms. Brockway holds a master's degree in health care systems from the University of Denver, a BSN from the University of Colorado and a BA from Western State College.

Jill Wolf, VP-Content and Service Integrity, Accuro Business Intelligence. Ms. Wolf joined the Accuro team in the summer of 2004 and brought with her over 30 years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Prior to coming to Accuro, Ms. Wolf served as the Executive Vice President of Operations for Laguna Medical Systems, Inc. in San Clemente, CA and also as the Corporate Integrity Program Director for Virginia Mason Health System in Seattle, WA. Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and a credentialed health information management professional (RHIT, CCS) she brings an extensive coding and auditing knowledge base to her position with Accuro. Ms. Wolf is an experienced educator, speaker and workshop leader.

David Karnes, VP-Products, Accuro Business Intelligence. Mr. Karnes joined Accuro in 2002 as a product manager and was promoted to his current position in 2006. Mr. Karnes has more than twenty years of experience in product development, product management, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Accuro, Mr. Karnes served in a variety of product development and marketing leadership positions including Vice President of Products for Lumedx Corporation, a market leader of cardiology information systems; Marketing Director of HBS International, a provider of hospital benchmarking software products; and a variety of sales and marketing management positions with 3M Health Information Systems. Mr. Karnes holds a MBA from Cornell University, a MS in Computer Science from University of Utah and a BA from the University of Vermont.
